About Round Table

A worldwide fellowship, now in Thailand

Round Table began in Norwich, England, in 1927, founded by Louis Marchesi. Today Tables meet in cities across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas and Asia, all under Round Table International.

Each Table is a small group of men under 40 who meet regularly, take on community projects together, and welcome Tablers from abroad as friends. Round Table is non-political and non-sectarian. In Thailand, we also respect the country's laws and customs in everything we do.

Round Table Thailand is being chartered with the support of Round Table Sri Lanka and the Asia South Pacific Area (ASPA) of Round Table International.

  4. ivTo extend Round Table across Thailand.

Tablers from across Asia Pacific and beyond are coming to Bangkok to see a new Table chartered in a new country. Everyone is welcome to join us.

    Tablers arrive in Bangkok. Book your own flights and hotel.

    ASPA Fellowship

    Afternoon meet-up for visiting and local Tablers. Details to follow.

  3. Main event22 Nov

    Charter & Inauguration

    At Kodtalay, Bangkok. Inauguration meeting followed by dinner.

  4. 23 Nov

    Departures

    Stay longer if you can and see more of Thailand.

Membership

How to join

Membership is by invitation, and every new member starts as a prospect. Getting to know the Table comes first.

  1. Meet usGet in touch, or come along with a member as a guest.
  2. Become a prospectAn Active Tabler proposes and invites you.
  3. Attend six meetingsAt least three business meetings and three social gatherings.
  4. InductionThe Table inducts you as an Active Tabler by unanimous consent.

Who can join

  • Men aged 18 to 40
  • Living or working in Thailand, of any nationality
  • Ready to attend one business and one social meeting each month
  • Keen to give time to community service
